Welcome to the Schuyler Soccer Club

To register for an up-coming season, hover on the Registration Info tab and go to Available Programs. 

Click on the Age Matrix to find the correct age division of the player. 

Find the correct season,  age division, and boys or girls team and click on it to begin the registration process. 

You will receive a confirmation email after you submit your payment that will include links to the Medical Release form and both the Parent and Player Codes of Conduct. 

Payment must be made and all forms must be filled out, signed and returned before participation can begin.

U8 TO U13

Fall Season General Information U8 thru U13

Season: 

  • End of August to November 1st
  • There will be holidays and certain weeks off based on the school calendar - TBD
  • The season will consist of weekly practices and approximately 8 local travel games
  • 4 home games and 4 away games, also possible tournaments and scrimmages
  • There will be separate girls and boys teams
  • We will compete in the Broome County League and abide by their rules and guidelines along with NYSWYSA
  • The Club year for all seasons begins September 1st

Practices: 

  • There will be two practices per week
  • Practice schedules will be based on field availability
  • Equipment:  Ball, Shin Guards, Soccer Cleats,  Water 

Travel Format:

  • U8:
    • Ages 6-7 
    • The format is 4v4 no goalies
    • 20 min festival style games
  • U10:
    • Ages 8-9 
    • The format is 7v7
    • Teams have a 11 player Match check-in limit
  • U13:
    • Ages 10-12 
    • The format is 9v9
    • Teams have a 13 player Match check-in limit

Cost for U8:

  • Cost for the Fall season is:
    • $50 Registration, jersey included
    • **Tournament fees are determined on an individual tournament basis and are not included in the registration cost

Cost for U10:

  • Cost for the Fall season is:
    • $89 Registration + $45 Uniform (if new one is needed)
    • **Tournament fees are determined on an individual tournament basis and are not included in the registration cost
    • **Uniforms are used until a new one is needed due to wear and tear and/or new size needed. 

Cost for U13:

  • Cost for the Fall season is:
    • $99 Registration + $45 Uniform (if new on is needed)
    • **Tournament fees are determined on an individual tournament basis and are not included in the registration cost
    • **Uniforms are used until a new one is needed due to wear and tear and/or new size needed.


Registration:

  • Registration for the spring season will be done on our website www.sscstrikers.com
  • Families with more than one player will receive a $10 discount for each additional player
  • Fill out a registration form, medical release form, and parent code of conduct form
  • All forms and payment must be received by the Club before participation
  • Tournament fees will be due at the time of each team’s tournament registration
  • Payment for registration, fees, and uniforms can be made by Cash, Square or on our Website

SCHUYLER SOCCER CLUB

Winter Season Session 1 General Information U8 thru U16 CoEd

Season: 

  • January 30th through March 31st
  • There will be holidays and certain weeks off based on the school calendar - TBD
  • The Club year for all seasons begins September 1st

  • This session will include 1-2 weekly practices as well as 1-2 games on Saturdays at The Rink in Lansing and/or weekly tournaments
  • We will also try to have various Inter-club scrimmages and Intra-club tournaments – TBD
  • The Winter Indoor season is setup to be several months of indoor gym time with focused skills practices and games.  While we encourage players to attend every practice and event to advance their skills and game play, we understand there are other various commitments during these months as well.  We don’t want people to be discouraged from signing up due to planned or random commitments and events.

Practices: 

  • There will be approximately two practices per week
  • Practice schedules will be based on gym availability between Watkins Glen and Odessa
  • Equipment: Ball, Shin Guards, Sneakers (indoor soccer shoes preferred), Water, Mask for practices at WG Fieldhouse

Cost:

  • Cost for Session 1
    • $75 Registration + $10 for Uniform
    • **Tournament fees are determined on an individual tournament basis and are not included in the registration cost
    • **Uniforms are used until a new one is needed due to wear and tear and/or new size needed.

 


Winter Season Session 2 General Information U8 thru U19 CoEd

Season: 

  • November 7th through January 29th
  • There will be holidays and certain weeks off based on the school calendar - TBD
  • The Club year for all seasons begins September 1st

  • This session will include 1-2 weekly practices as well as 1-2 games on Saturdays at The Rink in Lansing
  • We will also try to have various Inter-club scrimmages and Intra-club tournaments – TBD

Travel Tournaments:

  • The tournament schedule will be based on the yearly Indoor Western NY Soccer Calendar and tournaments offered by specific indoor facilities around the area
  • Tournaments vary in cost per team and range from approximately $12-$25 per player, cost per player is based on minimum needed and will be lower if more players register for each tournament.
  • The formats range from 4v4 to 7v7 and there is usually a 10 to 14 player maximum roster per team depending on the tournament host
  • Most tournaments are separate boys and girls teams but some may be coed
  • Some tournaments are categorized by age (eg: U9 or U10) and others by grade (eg: G3 or G4), and some skip a year (eg: U8, U10, U12...etc.).  We will create teams based on the age or grade requirements.  If an age group or grade isn't available, the players can play up (eg:  U9 will play with U10, G3 will play with G4).

SPRING TRAVEL SEASON INFORMATION

Spring Season General Information U10 thru U19

Season: 

  • April to July
  • There will be holidays and certain weeks off based on the school calendar - TBD
  • The season will consist of weekly practices and approximately 8 local travel games
  • 4 home games and 4 away games, also possible tournaments and scrimmages
  • There will be separate girls and boys teams
  • We will belong to the Broome County League and abide by their rules and guidelines along with NYSWYSA
  • The Club year for all seasons begins September 1st

Practices: 

  • There will be two practices per week

  • Equipment:  Ball, Shin Guards, Soccer Cleats,  Water 

Travel Format:

  • U8: Format is festival style, 4v4 with smaller fields/pop up goals/no goalie/coaches act as refs
  • U10: 
    • The format is 7v7
    • Teams have a 11 player Match check-in limit
  • U12:
    • The format is 9v9
    • Teams have a 13 player Match check-in limit
  • U14 – U19:
    • The format is 11v11
    • Teams have a 18 player Match check-in limit

 
Cost for U8 is $50
Cost for U10:
