  1. Brief Intro and Meeting Goals
    1. Attendance – Ashley Koehler (President and Coach), Brian Koehler (parent), Nick Kelly, Jason Dechow (coach), Katie Rhodes (coach), Carolyn Harmer (coach), Ida Sidle (coach, former player), Lillian Betts (coach, former player)
  2. Fall Season Overview
    1. Approx. 150 kids registered and participated, ages ranging from 2-12
    2. Summer Sessions through July/August helped transition kids into the season; plan to run again next summer
    3. New Programs Introduced – 2’s & 3’s Lil’ Strikers Tiny Tots, U5 Lil Strikers Tiny Tots, U8 Lil’ Strikers
    4. BCSA Teams Entered – 1 U8 Co-Ed, 2 U10 Boys, 2 U10 Girls, 2 U13 Boys, 1 U13 Girls
    5. U13 Girls BCSA Division 2 Champs
    6. Challenges – COVID/Quarantines, Ref Shortage, Field Conditions/Flooded
      1. From Fire Chief – need to make clear where parking is available (NOT AT THE FD), also need to spend 5-10 minutes at the end of each practice making sure fields are cleaned up
      2. Looking ahead, need to make a plan for a porta potty for upper field once in use
    7. Fundraising – Raised over $1000 from Bucket Chicken BBQ and $750 from Scentsy Fundraiser
  3. Winter Session
    1. Session 1 Underway – Lansing League
      1. Registration closed
      2. 75 kids ages 6-16
      3. Session runs through January 29th
      4. Currently Practices on Sundays, Games on Saturdays in Lansing, with weeknight practices being added come December
    2. Session 2, 2/1-3/31 – Gym Tournaments and/or Lansing League
      1. Registration 12/1-12/15/21, $75 plus $10 for uniform if needed
      2. Teams/Coaches/Players will decide if they want to continue participating in the Lansing League for their 2nd session, play in local gym tournaments, or both!
      3. Practices will continue to be on Sundays with the option of Monday or Wednesday night practices added in when gym is available
  4. Spring Season – 4/4 – 7/1/22
    1. Registration Open 12/16/21 – 2/15/22
      1. Early Bird Discount - $25 off registrations 12/16/21 – 1/15/22
      2. Late Fee - $25 added to registrations 2/1 – 2/15
      3. Age Groups Available – U8 Coed, U10 B&G, U12 B&G, U14 B&G, U16 B&G, U19 B&G
    2. Team Entry Deadline 1/17/22, Last Date to Enter/Withdraw 2/21/22 without penalty
    3. Free Change Period 3/24 – 4/8/22
    4. First Day of Play 4/23, Last Day of Play 7/1
  5. Board Establishment – Current Members and Members to Appoint

  6. Meeting Expectations Moving Forward
    1. Board Meetings Held 3rd Thursday of Every Month with Zoom style option available
    2. All Club Meetings held 3rd Thursday of November and July
    3. Coaches Meetings Held as Needed
  7. Upcoming Opportunities
    1. 2’s & 3’s Indoor Classes – 8 class session, $60 for whole session or $10 drop in fee
      1. Have space established at Comm Ctr, need a “Head Coach” to coordinate
    2. U5/U6 Program – 8 class session, $65 for whole session or $10 drop in fee
      1. Wayne Weber is interested in running, would like space at WG elementary or full gym on Sundays if possible
    3. Spring 2’s & 3’s and Spring U5/U6 – similar to above
    4. Fundraising – ideas passed around; spaghetti dinner at FD, players/parents/coaches volunteering to serve at a Pancake breakfast while also running some raffles (50/50, gift baskets, etc.), solicit businesses for donations/sponsorships, etc.
